Teams in Action
The only time we put an ‘I’ in team.
Every team is made up of individuals, and how those individuals communicate, make decisions, handle differences and respond to change shapes how the team works together.
Teams in Action helps your team understand the individual and collective patterns influencing how you work together, then turns that insight into practical action.
Whether you want to strengthen overall team dynamics, navigate conflict or help your team through change, we use the diagnostic experience that best fits what your team needs.

Could your team understand each other better and work more effectively together?
Every team has its own dynamics. Differences in how people communicate, make decisions, approach conflict and respond to change can shape how effectively a team works together.
Teams in Action could be right for your team if you want to:
- Build greater self-awareness and understanding of others
- Strengthen communication and collaboration
- Understand and make better use of different ways of working
- Navigate differences, disagreement or conflict more effectively
- Help the team understand how it responds to change
- Strengthen decision-making and problem-solving
- Address a particular team challenge or opportunity
- Agree practical ways of working that the team can take forward
Teams in Action isn’t about making everyone think or work in the same way. It’s about understanding what each person brings to the team and using those differences to work better together.
Which Teams in Action experience is right for your team?
Teams in Action isn’t one-size-fits-all. We start with what is happening in your team and what you want to achieve, then select the experience that best fits your needs.
Team Dynamics – Powered by MBTI®
Understand your differences. Work with them, not against them.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is a personality assessment that helps people understand their preferences in how they take in information, make decisions, communicate and approach the world around them.
Using the MBTI® assessment, each team member explores their individual personality preferences. We then bring those individual insights together to understand what the team’s mix of preferences means for how you work together.
This experience can help your team understand:
- Individual MBTI® personality preferences
- Different communication and interaction styles
- How people take in information and make decisions
- Different approaches to structure, planning and getting things done
- Where the team’s mix of preferences creates strengths, gaps or potential tension
- How to adapt and work more effectively together
Navigating Conflict – Powered by TKI®
Understand your approach to conflict. Disagree better.
The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI®) helps people understand the different ways they approach conflict and disagreement.
Using the TKI® assessment, each team member explores their individual conflict-handling modes. We then bring those individual insights together to understand the team’s collective patterns and how they influence the way differences are handled.
This experience can help your team understand:
- Individual TKI® conflict-handling modes
- Different approaches to conflict and disagreement
- How individual conflict styles show up within the team
- Where different approaches may help or hinder
- How the team responds when perspectives or priorities differ
- How to navigate disagreement more constructively
- Practical ways to work through differences together
Navigating Change – Powered by CSI™ 2
Understand how you respond to change. Move forward together.
The Change Style Indicator™ 2 (CSI™ 2) helps people understand their preferred approach to change and how they respond when change is happening around them.
Using the CSI™ 2 assessment, each team member explores their individual change style. We then bring those individual insights together to understand the team’s collective mix of change styles and how this influences the way the team experiences and navigates change.
This experience can help your team understand:
- Individual CSI™ 2 change styles
- The different approaches to change represented across the team
- How individual change styles influence responses to change
- Where different approaches can create strengths or tension
- How to make better use of different perspectives during change
- Practical ways to navigate change together

How does it work?
Teams in Action begins before the team comes together. Each participant completes the assessment for your chosen experience, giving us individual and collective insights that we then bring to life during the team session.
- We understand your team
We start with a conversation to understand your team, what is happening, what you want to achieve and any particular dynamics, challenges or opportunities you would like us to explore. - We select the right Teams in Action experience
Based on what your team needs, we agree the experience that best fits, Team Dynamics – Powered by MBTI®, Navigating Conflict – Powered by TKI® or Navigating Change – Powered by CSI™ 2. - Your team completes the assessments
Each participant receives a link to complete their individual assessment ahead of the session. - We prepare your team insights
PeopleCore reviews the individual results and analyses the patterns across the team, using these insights to prepare a session tailored to your team. - We bring the team together
We facilitate a full-day, in-person interactive session where your team explores its individual and collective insights, what they mean in practice and how they influence the way you work together. - We turn insight into action
Your team agrees practical actions and ways of working to take forward. PeopleCore captures these in your Team Action Plan alongside the agreed outputs from your Teams in Action experience.
How long does it take?
The timing will depend on your team, participant numbers and the Teams in Action experience selected.
All participants need to complete their assessments before we can begin the team analysis. Once all assessments have been completed, PeopleCore requires a minimum of 7 working days to review and analyse the results and prepare your tailored Teams in Action session.
Tell us about your team
Share a little about your team and what you would like to achieve. You don’t need to know which Teams in Action experience is right for you, we’ll work that out together.
We’ll ask you about:

- The number of participants
- What is happening within the team
- What you would like the team to get from the experience
- Any particular dynamics, challenges or opportunities you would like to explore
- Where you would like the session to take place
- Your preferred timing for the session
Teams in Action is a full-day, in-person experience. It can be delivered for teams of different sizes, with the scope and approach tailored to your team. Good to know
Teams in Action is a full-day, in-person team development experience. The approach will be tailored to your team, with the scope and pricing depending on participant numbers, the Teams in Action experience selected and your team’s needs.
Each participant will need to complete their individual assessment by the agreed deadline. This is an important part of the experience and allows PeopleCore to analyse the individual and collective results and prepare your tailored team session.
MBTI®, TKI® and CSI™ 2 are used as development tools to create insight and understanding. They are not measures of ability, performance or competence, and the results should not be used to label people or determine what they can or cannot do.
Teams in Action is designed to support team development. It is not individual coaching, mediation, formal conflict resolution or organisation-wide change support. If your team needs something different or additional, we can talk about the support that would be most appropriate.
The session is designed to turn insight into practical action, but what happens afterwards matters too. Its impact will depend on the team continuing to use and reinforce what it has learned and agreed.
What happens next is up to you. Your team can take its insights and Team Action Plan forward independently or ask PeopleCore to provide further support in specific areas. There is no obligation to purchase further support.
